Tin Man Costume
This costume was made for a production of the Wizard of Oz that was halted due to Covid. It has never been worn. It is made from puffer coat fabric, hand painted and sealed. At each joint, there is heavy knit for free movement. The hip area is shaped with gladiator-style flaps for better movement, as well. The back has a full open zipper for quick change. All of the ‘rivets’ are done by hand, as are the ‘tin can patches’. The top of the pants is a pair of cotton leggings. The boots are a pair of ladies’ flats with the boot attached, heel zipper for quick change. The gloves are cotton Isontoners. The hat has snaps on the cheeks for quick change, the back and chin are elastic. The blank square on the chest has a strong magnet, to attach the sparkly heart quickly onstage.
The size is approx Small though the pants are stretch and the hem lengths can be altered. The shoes are approx size 8.5 (ladies)
