2 Scandinavian girl's costumes
These costumes were made for my production of The Snow Queen. I was inspired by actual traditional Finnish or Sami people, which is the culture featured in the original story by Hans Christian Anderson.
The set consists of two tops, two skirts, and two pairs of cuffs. The materials are very heavy polyester double knit.
Each top and skirt has many trims stitched to the hems and sleeves, both of the white trims are hand crocheted. The attached shawls are soft cotton netting. Both tops have zipper closures in the back. The blue top is lined and has fur cuffs. The blue skirt has a zipper and the red skirt has a velcro closure. (The pictured fur hat is missing from the costume closet, I will keep looking for it.)
The boot cuffs are merely safety pinned to these boots. The boots are NOT included in this sale but can be purchased for $10 each pair, size 10 and size 5-6.
